According to the Scriptures, the first and greatest commandment is:
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.”

so what should that mean to me...?.

He should be the one around whom our lives revolve.
If He were, we would find more time and energy for Him.

He is supposed to come first.
what or who am i putting first in my life...?

the way you begin to live out the God given dreams is to become the person that God desires you to be.  Joseph went on a long journey, and he went through a lot of pain, and his life was a nightmare, but his dream was a foretaste of his destiny. maybe the problem wasn't about how long it took for the dream to come to pass, but how long it took to make the dreamer.

your dreams are the product of your longings, a portrait of your potential, and a promise of your future.

your dreams are God's way of whispering into your soul, "there's more to you than you know. there's more available to you than you can imagine. there's an extraordinary life awaiting you if you would trust Me."

but the question is, what can you see? are you living a nightmare, or lost in a fantasy because you're afraid there's nothing meaningful inside of you? are you paralyzed because you don't really believe God made you extraordinary and has planned for you a future worth getting up for?

can you see who God has made you to become?

i think that is why community is so important. sometimes we are blind to ourselves. we are afraid people might see inside us and conclude that we have no value at all. often our fear, or our sense of inadequacy is masked by arrogance and indifference. you were created in the image and likeness of God. as broken, damaged, and messed up as you may be, God sees extraordinary capacity in you.

God literally holds us together

i do not ask to be set free from sorrow, pain and care, but only that i will be given strength my cross on earth to bear. may He take me by the hand and help me through this day; then trusting Him, i will carry on and work, love, laugh and pray.

Watch your thoughts,
For they become words.
Choose your words,
For they become actions.
Understand your actions,
For they become habits.
Study your habits,
For they become your character.

the prayer of faith

is any one of you in trouble? he should pray. is anyone happy? let him sing songs of praise. is any one of you sick? he should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. and the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. if he has sinned he will be forgiven. therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you might be healed. the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

i think u and i are more alike than we care to be.. and we are hadicapped in spirit also.. which means we have to fight even harder.. because baby it is a war :)
like our names we are mixed with the Spirit and the world.. but it's the spirit i like so much and is the most important part.. that's what needs to pravail!
"if God is for us who can be against us..?".. isn't it wild how God works all things..

we aren't living up to our potential.. we keep falling down or trippin over somethin.. guess i dont know about u, but i do me..
i once told u i felt us in spirit and then u told me it wasn't never ever gonna happen.. i got it, but it was a way cool thought i had in my head and heart.. that's the kind of thing i'd be awed by if God ever gave it to me... it would be like jesus did it.. if it ever comes to me.. but im also okay if it doesn't.. because i know jesus will dress me in white one day.. He knows it's the desire of my heart..
to every truth there is a lie.. we have to look real hard to see the flaws of life=the mirror image.. who is the carnal us.. who we worship if we aren't careful.. instead of the real thing, which is God... like His word says.. "be vigilant, be sober, for your enemy goes around the earth to and fro, seeking whom he may destroy..,
i think God gave u to me to have fellowship with.. even if it is in spirit only..
but really, what do i know :)
